I have been having trouble sleeping, I just turned 59 and have been battling with hot flashes and night sweats off and on since I was in my 40’s. Could any of this cause dizziness and lightheaded. I have been having problems with these symptoms also.

Hello Dr. Stanton,
I have had a partial hysterecomy about a year and a half ago, and since about 2 months after that I started to not feel any desire for sex, which was not like me before the hysterecomy. I alreay have no thyroid production, so I take medication for that and and so confused about what to take to help with my testosterone levels. My gynecolosit prescribed a testostorone compound earlier on and it worked, but I got scared to continue to take it. She also recently presribed the Vitalle patch for me, but I am still concerned about taking it due to heart problems in my family and high blood pressure in myself. So to say I am confused about what to take that will help me without major side effects is an understatement.

Can you help with some suggesstions. I do have some hot flashes, mainly when I am sleeping and have not been having so much trouble with sleeping recently, but still lack the desire to have sex with my husband.

I would love to have some kind of guidance as to what I should be taking. Thank you for your time.
